The name of the site, D’Verro, comes from Andrea del Verrocchio who was a sculptor, goldsmith and painter. The Verrocchio workshop is where Leonardo da Vinci trained and was exposed to artistic skills such as drawing, painting, sculpting, modeling, and more technical skills including chemistry, drafting (technical drawing), metallurgy (study of metallic elements), metal working, plaster casting, mechanics, carpentry and leather working.

Right now the site is a place where I can collect design inspiration from around the web. Soon I’ll be exploring the workshops close to home – Malaysia, Bali, and Singapore, possibly Vietnam and Thailand.
